We are Athena yoga

At Athena Yoga classes are based on the traditional style of Hatha Yoga, also incorporating an element of flow (Slow Flow or Vinyasa). We embody the ancient philosophy of yoga, whilst keeping it relevant and relatable to modern life. Aiming to leave you feeling calm and peaceful, yet with a renewed inner strength. Hatha yoga focuses on more static asanas, focusing on good alignment. We also work through steady flow sequences, with options for all, focusing on a strong connection with breath and creating the space to let go mentally and physically, leaving you feeling rejuvenated and relaxed at the end of practice.

Why choose us?

Our classes incorporate both static postures as well as flow sequences, with options for all levels. Beginners are welcome. Our teaching promotes increased flexibility, building of muscle strength, development of a stronger core and encourages great posture. The aim being to leave your practice feeling calmer, more focused; with thoughts to take with you off the mat and incorporate into everyday life. Embracing all areas of yoga really does become a mind and body experience for all round holistic health.
