The Athena Way
Athena Yoga was set up to share the benefits of a regular practice in a relaxed, friendly, small group environment. Develop your practice at your own pace, have time to connect fully with your breath and leave your mat with a renewed sense of energy and inner strength, feeling calmer and more relaxed.
As well as group classes, if you would like to develop technique, have time for more individual adjustments or dive deeper into one particular area of yoga, we can also arrange smaller group sessions and 1 to 1’s. Get in touch for more information.
Fay has been teaching in the fitness industry for 13 years and practicing yoga for a similar amount of time. Coming from a background in dance and theatre, her first introduction to Yoga was whilst living in South Korea, where it was one of the few classes you could follow without the language!
Falling in love with the practice, discipline and the effect on body and mind, she continued to seek out yoga classes in a variety of styles, whilst living in New Zealand, travelling around the world and continuing once back here in the UK. Finally completing teacher training with Zuna Yoga on the beautiful island of Bali, immersing completely in the yogic experience. Fay offers a friendly, relaxed, group environment in which to share her knowledge and practice.
